Just ordered this cooler yesterday, scheduled to deliver tomorrow. It's on Buy.com for $27.99, with a $20 mail-in rebate for orders placed between 2/25 and 3/2. It also ships for free, making this a mere $7.99. All of the reviews are very positive, but even if it turns out to be a poor product, you're only out $8.

    Here's the description:
Cool Your Notebook! Protect your valuable investment and reduce heat-related instability. USB-powered cooler with pass-through connector included. Draw power from any USB port without losing use of the USB port. Works great with both Macs and PCs. Two quiet, double ball-bearing fans for reliable, extremely quiet operation. Low power consumption, no batteries or power adapter needed. Quieter than a whisper, only 25.9 dB(A)AQ3. Antec Quality three-year warranty.
