I am not sure. The ad only mentions Apple stores, but maybe the deal also applies to purchasing products directly from their website?

IF this rumor is true then it is safe to say that this must be a reaction on Apple's part to the success of the recently released Asus UL series, especially the UL 80VT, which so many people are choosing over an Apple MacBook or MacBook Pro because of its price, portability, battery power and switchable graphics.

That being said, this is only a rumor and most Black Friday rumors concerning Apple (at least in the past) have proved to be false.

I very much doubt this is true. We'll probably see some sort of discount, but not 25%.

I think Apple usually offers only a 10% discount. They never follow sales trends even when it comes to Black Friday.

I know. The ad is unprofessional in appearance. It looks like something that I could have created using my old Tandy 1000SL computer from 1989! LOL!

It is most likely untrue, but if it is true then I hope the Apple store at the Providence Place Mall and the PPM itself beefs up security on Black Friday because it is not the safest place in the world, especially the parking garage.

The newest ad is clearly a fake. The word "of" is used instead of the word "off". For example, "35% of all Macs". lol!

You can get a new Macbook at Micro Center for 799$ (999$ - 200$ mail in rebate). I was just there and I saw it. I am sure they'd offer the same deal online.
