If only I lived in the States.. but then again, I would probably already have a netbook of my own if I did :p

I saw the same thing, also, on Woot. Did a little research. Am I missing something here? 1Gig of Ram and a 4 Gig Hard drive....other than some email & web surfing (limited to Wi-Fi only), on a practical basis, what and how many actual programs are you going to be able to install and run? (Not many)??? Any connection possibilities to the 3G (or 4G) network? I'm thinking, for a few bucks more (probably double), I can get a tablet with exponential capabilities? Again, what am I missing?

It's true, you won't be able to install much on it with only 4 gigs.... but what tablet are you talking about? Maybe for a few hundred more bucks?

I would say that hard drives are pretty cheap though, and since it already has 1 gig of ram you could easily get a nice 7200rpm 320gig hard drive and install Ubuntu or some type of Windows pretty easily on it. It'll still be cheaper than buying a $300+ netbook.

Can you upgrade the SSD/HDD on this model?

Actually, I could be wrong about installing a normal 2.5" hard drive... it might not be like most other netbooks. But at the very least you could install a rather cheap 16gb SSD for at least some space.

Or a 16GB SD if you're to lazy to open it up. LOL

Yeah, but for $169 plus the cost of a 16GB SSD you have spent the cost of one with a 120GB hard drive that they have over at TigerDirect ($199)

That's also a refurb if I remember correctly... not a big deal for some, but worth mentioning.

Edit: I Don't even see any at Tiger direct for $199....
