not a bad buy. but if someone is interested in this type of notebook i would suggest looking at the 6850 FX at bestbuy.com or the M-152XL at gateway.com

both are cheaper and better imo.

The g1sn has more ram and a better design in my opinion....and i'm not a big fan of the ATI card the 6850fx uses.

they actually just raised the price of the M-152XL back to 1050 from 999 (which was where it was at when i posted that comment)

And the 6850 is still 899 at bestbuy.com.

    Do research please before posting

if that has a 32 bit vista that 4 ram will be useless anyway.
but i guess it just comes down to personal preference...i got my M-152XL for 899, 150 cheaper then that machine. Those 150 bucks are worth more to me then the differences in the two machines.

It has a 64 bit OS so its not useless and it does use all 4GB memory...it also has the secondary oled screen which i find really useful when playing games on full screen mode...not to mentioned I feel Asus is a better brand than Gateway and to me thats worth more than $150

By the way the Gateway is actually 1099 at Best Buy now. So this is actually $50 less and better imo.
