This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I haven't been keeping up with the gaming section of the notebook market lately, but this seems like a OK deal for a notebook with a good GPU. (Not to mention it's one of the most interesting looking notebooks I've seen in a while.)

    X5 has a slightly slower CPU (2.13 instead of 2.26), but a 9-cell battery instead of a 6-cell.

    All other feathers between the two (other than the visuals) are the same, despite Best Buy typos/misinformation.
