Because it is huge. My cousin has one, and the lid could easily accomadate a 11" screen. In fact, I suspect that it was originally designed to, because measured across, the indentation on the bezel measures 11".

It's rather thick too, and plenty heavy. It was king of the hill before Ion drew near, I don't see it sticking around much longer after this fall.

Well, where is Ion? So far, it's only nettops, which doesn't help any potential netbook users.

Lenovo S12 and a Samsung model.

I'm surprised the price for the N10Jc-a1 (not N10J-a1/a2) has not dropped since I last researched it in January. It was 500$ after cb when I was considering it then. I'm guessing they discontinued it because the price is too high.

Unfortunately, both are delayed till fall...

...and they're still being paired with slow Atom CPU-

I wish they made reasonably priced netbook sized laptops with some decent hardware inside. An 8.9" form factor, ulv core 2 solo, 9400m laptop would be very nice. Tablet would make it perfect. Of course, the only ones that come close start at 2 grand.

N10J with higher res screen and dual core atom would be rockin.

Just gotta be patient it will happen at some point but it will be a new model and probably use a different gpu.
