Looks like a good one, the Bing cashback really is nice.

 

This is a great laptop for a great price. Being an UL30VT-A1 owner myself and owning numerous other Asus laptops, I'd say this series is one of the better Asus laptops currently manufactured.

Awesome deal guys, this A1 variant is the one with the higher battery life.

woot! im so old! I might be more excited about the asus than i was for the dell. I plan on making the asus my linux only toy and get some good use out of it and finally keep my work separate from my play so I wont have to worry about corrupting files on different partitions or other stupid stuff

lol it was a good deal as far as im concerned, especially considering the battery life (and the overclocking if one needs it), now I just have to wait for my 40gb value intel ssd to come in, I hope it gets me another hour while destroying my boot up time. Though with a properly compiled linux kernels boot time is pretty minimal any way.

Edit: I almost went with a refurbished vostro v13, they look impressive, but since it only came with the core 2 solo at best and tops out at 5 hours of battery life I figured I should look around, and lo and behold, this sweet asus with a beautiful blend of power and mobility showed up with a sweet discount.
