Nice. That's a $150 kit there. Except personally I'm looking for an 18V

the impact makes the 12v kit beat a 18v drill in torque a few times...its 60% of the torque of the 18v impact. I have only found 1 situation my craftman 18x couldn't handle and it was a drill not impact so i get the 12v impact could have done the job. It was putting a 6-8 in lug into 8-10 in of wood. It was 3/8 lug i think too. My 18v drill got all the way minus the last 1in but thats probably because i couldn't drill the whole the full 6-8 in that i needed. If i could have i bet it would have made it so the 12v impact could have easily finished it off. Personally even with needing with put in that large of lugs into wood i can't really think of anything that would require more than that for me. This 12v kit would nail everything i needed....minus the 12v drill can't take 1/2 bits, which actually would probably cause me a few problems now that i think of it.

The impact doesn't have a ch for limiting torque. Most don't, but some do.

I love my impact driver. It doesn't have a torque limiter, I wish it did. But I still love it. Not only do you get a lot of torque, but that isn't even my favorite part. The best part is with high torque you are not fighting with it. Impact drivers don't try to twist your hand off the way a regular drill can. The only downside is the noise.

Ah, didn't see it was an impact driver. Back up to $129 anyhow.

I bought the Black and Decker Matrix system. Good for those occasional jobs, not good for a contractor. So far I have not had any problems with it. And it is nice I don't have to worry about charging a bunch of different batteries. Also nice the whole system can fit in a small bag. The only con is I wish the circular saw was bigger.
