BC2: Vietnam for $5 (U.S. Only)

I found a pretty good deal on the BC2: Vietnam xpac.

If you sign up for recyclebank.com and do some quick (3 minutes online) things you can get enough points for a $10 off EA store coupon. I already had Vietnam (doh!!) so I just got Mirror's Edge for free.

Here are the step by step instructions:

• create account at recyclebank.com
  Under "Earn Points"
• Sign up for eBay's Green Team for 50 points
• Enter code: 031604014704 with partner: Nature Made for 10 points 5x times
• Enter code: TakeSmallSteps with partner: Marcal for 15 points
• Take Miller Coors Quiz for 30 points (answers are C for every quiz)
• Take Naked Juice Quiz for 30 points
• Take P&G Quiz for another 30

You should now have ~225 points. Now go redeem 175 points for an EA coupon for $10 off a PC game. Bam!! BC2 Vietnam for $5

 

After I get the access code for game, can it be used in steam version or not?

 

I definitely do not trust this. Paying $10 more rather than gambling seems fair enough to me

 

Last time I used one of these types of discounted websites my account was banned 1 month later.

Buy it from reputable sources, guys. These discounted codes are nothing more than key generators. It may take a day or a year, but they will catch you.

How? In the future, when someone purchases a legitimate copy of the game it may have the same code as the one generated, which will then lead to an investigation and finally leading to an account ban.

Not saying this site is bad - Just be VERY careful, b/c you don't want hundreds (if not thousands) of hours lost later down the road.

 

Worked for me, got my code and $5.00 game.

The code does not work in Steam from the "add game" thing but I need to test a few things, like seeing if you enter it in the game client itself. Also I just made the purchase it may take a bit for the code to work.

I have the game on EA anyways so I was pretty safe to give this a try.

 

The site is only giving you coupon codes for the EA Store. If this were truly a scam, then I don't think EA's own store would accept these coupon codes.

 

Vietnam codes are entered within the game menu screen, just hit the Vietnam button in the middle left of the screen and punch in your unlock code from EA.

 

Yeah your not getting the unlock code your getting a code to purchase the game. Coupon codes are all over the net all the time I dont think there is any risk other than spam mail.

This however looks pretty legitimate (the site)

Edit: got it working. No time to play now have to work soon. Try to get some game time tomorrow if I am lucky.

Yep, it works. Better act quick though, one of the partner codes ran out, I only earned about 180 points, but it was just enough for the $10 EA promote code.

Since I already got Vietnam, so I bought the SPECACT Kit Upgrade, which is something I would never pay myself.

* If you are concerned with your privacy, just use your spam email account when you sign up, then fill out some fake personal info - address/phone all can be made up - if it gives you the error that your address does not match, just click on continue, it won't bother you again.

Im sure as this deal gets wide spread somehow it will be harder to get.

Now that I bought Vietnam, everytime I open EA store, it offers me another copy fo $5.
No code or anything.
Just bought 2 other copies for my friend and still its on.
Its strange.

man there code system is messed up, just read the slick deals thread on this and the code is taking $10.00 off everything in the cart. So there are like 14 games for for $10 people are getting for free lol.

It seems if you bought the item at the discounted price, the EA store will continue to show that discounted price. I got Mirror's Edge for free with the coupon and it's still showing a price of 0.00$ if I add it to my cart.

Looks like it was only for 24 hrs.
But I still got a $10 coupon that I got.

But now I have this damn new EA Downloader Client on my system. I woulda gotten Vietnam, but I was a fool and paid full price for it last week. Glad some people are enjoying the deal!

 

recyclebank removed the $10 off coupon reward

 

I think it's more likely that EA caught on and removed the code. Such is the world of online awesome deals, they seem to last only long enough for a few thousand people to catch on and create a massive blip on the "# of SPECACT kits purchased in the last hour" Excel graph.

 

I wonder if the $10 EA promote code can be used twice by another person.
I only spent about $5.50 on that SPECACT kit upgrade, so in theory, I should be able to give that code to one of you who missed the coupon deal and buy the kit for just $1 (or $4.50 off on other games).

 

^^ You cannot use more than once even though if you have balance.

 

I found a way to get as many discounts as possible.
Just click on add to cart and enter the coupon.
(BC2 Vietnam $15-10=$5)
Remove from the cart
Add another game into cart and again enter the coupon
Price is slashed $10.
Now add BC2 Vietnam.
Get both or 3 games at total $30 discount as I tried upto 3.

If you have a redeemed code then its still on but if you are thinking to get one from recyclebank then its dead.
