    Needed to up the ram on an hp laptop I have that is going the the mother-in-law.
    Plus, the 4gb micro sd for free is nice (combo deal) as I can always use it for linux boot disk images.

    So i ordered this, then an hour later Newegg says my payment billing details were invalid. After some backwards & forwards with their live chat, i told him to just cancel it.

    2 hours later i check my Credit Card statement online, and lo and behold there's a charge from Newegg.

    I'm now waiting for the "Accounting department" to review this and refund me my money, even though they can't process my order because my payment details are apparently "invalid". So they charged me for something they can't send me because they can't charge me.

    Yea, makes alot of sense. Screw Newegg, i am never using them EVER again.

    I have those sticks, and do no recommend them. Save your money for something better.

    Why so? For stock 1333MHz RAM they're perfectly fine. Use them in three laptops so far with no issues.

    Mine quit on me :( I'm running with 2GB RAM now, orderd new pairs with Corsair, however, I'll contact G.SKILL and see if I can get mine replaced.

    Yeah, but still, they quit. I'm running on 2GB, had to orderd new sticks because I know this kind of things take some time. And I can't run on 2GB for long..

    That can happen to any RAM. I had Kingstons actually fail on me and they're supposed to be the best. It happens. I had desktop G.Skill fail once too, and they replaced it without question, got a brand new set too. At this point I have enough spare RAM sitting around I don't worry about it too much.
