If Portal 2 is any indication of pre-ordering games it will be cheaper to wait till its released rather than dedicate yourself and your money to a pre-order in advance.

Yea, seriously. Especially considering BFBC2 was down to like 20 bucks in a VERY short amount of time from release. Some how....COD:BO is still full price though. I just don't understand it.

^ yeah, me too. OT: Good thing I finally made it to rank 50 this week. I was hoping to do that before getting BF3 or face severe OCD's. lol...

And like others have said, I'll save my cash and skip the pre-order.

Is portal 2 cheaper now than the best preorder offer? I thought there was like a $35 preorder from bestbuy or something.

It was $35 day of release + $10 Best Buy gift card + $10 in Reward Zone credit.

I'm having trouble making sense of this. The preorder seems better. How exactly is portal 2 an indication that we should wait until release to purchase games rather than preorder?

It's called sarcasm... learn it and your sense of humor will increase greatly (and needs it).

Classy. Sarcasm doesn't always come across well in text form. I'm not worried about it ;)
