    Very tempting, was tempted to buy the $37.00 Amazon version.

    But likeajreynol said. No steam... since this is a primary multi player game having steam really increases its capacity to fill that roll.

    Been playing MW2 for the last few days and seeing when my friends are on and even using steam voice chat is very nice.

    Is about time Steam has a sale for this game too I would hope.

    So if you buy this version instead of off Steam you can't play with people who buy the Steam version?

    That doesn't make sense, you can obviously still play with people on Steam; Steam has no bearing on what servers you join. If someone with the Steam version and this version join the same server they should still be able to play together.

    Maybe you wont be able to join parties or whatever, but unless they did something server-side to make it like that, you should still be able to play with STEAM people.

    Must be the added convenience of Steam integration so it gets added to your games collection and you can see your friends list and join their games.

    I went ahead and got it. For under $20 cant complain, I will just add it to steam as a non-steam game so that people know when I am playing.
