The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Bestbuy has 18-months no interest for purchases over $499 with BB credit card.

    Bestbuy currently has "No interest storewide on all purchases totaling $499 & up if paid in full within 18 months" when one applies/uses their Bestbuy credit card. I know a lot of folks have been interested in the Asus G51/71 laptops and other electronics and for some of us this presents a relatively safe way to purchase something we couldn't afford to pay in full or in a 3/6 month no interest deal.
