Are you sure Circuit City is doing a BF sale? I heard they're filing for bankruptcy.

As, not all the stores are closing!

Well, at least there's no BF @ CC for me. I live in Chandler, AZ and all the CC around me are closed. I think there's only two left in AZ which are in Tucson (about 100 miles away)

Circuit City will have BF as far as I know. My brother works there lol

So far, I haven't found any outstanding deals anywhere. I mean there are a couple pretty good priced items but quite frankly, I've seen way better notebook deals in the last month in some cases. This BF sucks for me...I'm going out of town with the fam to Mammoth Lake for that entire weekend and I doubt I'm gonna be anywhere near retail stores lol

Here is the Circuit City BF Ad guy's (thread made also) :)

    http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/BlackFridaySales/Store/CircuitCity

    or:

    http://www.blackfriday.info/sales/circuitcity-black-friday-ad.html

Even though,Circuit City has filed for bankruptcy, stores staying open will honor the ad, and you'll be able to order items online as well.

Quick question about the best time to buy a laptop.

Should I buy it off of Ebay because of the -$100 coupon and 25% Microsoft cashback or would Cyber Monday provide greater savings?

Cyber Monday has never had anything that would be that good of a discount.

Yeah, never really seen any cyber monday sales that trumped the black friday sales.

I'm hoping this year to find a nice laptop at a great deal. Not going to buy one though if its a cheap laptop at a cheap price, or a great laptop at a so-so price... to whatever company has the deal though I pledge my $!

    :)

Ohh...That's because your looking at the BF *ad scan* and the CC website with the camcorder at regular price when you click on it.

The BF deal will not be availi' at the $289 pricing until actual Black Friday ;)

I am going to be buying several computer parts within the next couple of weeks. building myself a new computer :) Anyways, do you think Newegg will have the better prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday? I lean towards BF because... well its more largely known in my opinion. And if I wait til CM and i was wrong... well that sucks. But yeah, just wanting a second opinion :)

Well in my opinion, if you see good deal, just take it (you'll probably miss it if you keep waiting).

how the few cyber monday websites, including the one posted in this thread, don't list any deal for cyber monday but just general deals not related to it?

is there a good reference site?
