I am planning to buy a notebook around first week of december.
I was generally fooling around toshibadirect.com and there are some swell deals.
for example Qosimo X505-892 with i5 and NVIDIA 460m (1.5 DDR5 card) for 1129 USD.
you get a toshiba full HD pocket camcorder(value 179$) free with this deal.
However, it says deal valid till 11/22
So whats your experience, is it possible that prices will creep up once 22nd november blows by.
Or will new deals come in in first week of december in time for Xmas shopping?
I plan to buy it before 5-6 december if a good deal is possible.
I do not have much experience with the market price fluctuations of laptops in the US.

I doubt the prices will go up - more probably general stores will run out of stock due to heavy demand on black friday. From what I remember prices stay the same as the Christmas comes by pretty quickly.
Toshiba... meh. -
Hey!
There will always be deals going on regardless of BF, or Cyber Monday.
If that seems like a good deal to you now, and you want it...go for it!
However, I really think that there are going to be some pretty decent deals between now and over Xmas as Retailers will want to make the best for their $$.

If you think that the $1179 price is a good deal, then buy it.
Look at it thsi way - In the very rare and highly unlikely case that the laptop price goes down before December 6th, then it's ok - you still got a good deal at $1179. But if the promotion ends, and you end up paying MORE than $1300 or $1400 for the same laptop, you will regret it.
Black friday deals - prices set to rise afterwards?
