This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    For those of you lucky enough to avoid the BF crush. Topped off by the $399 Toshiba from Compusa. Best buy has the $450 V2403nr back and Staples the Compaq v2405 with Sempron 3000+ for $499. Tough to figure out the Dell deal once you add handling, extended warranty , decent battery etc. but listed at $499. Strange but if you want to spend $150 more you can get the exact same Toshiba from CC, I think they price match. :budget: I like Staples no questions asked 14 day return policy.
