    Walmart offers a $20 eGift Card when you pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for $60. Select in-store pick up to save on shipping, otherwise it's $2.47. Game to be released on Nov 10, 2009.

    Note, if the link takes you to the home page, search for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

    * PS3
    * Xbox 360
    * PC
    * More

    Amazon also has it for $60 with a $20 Credit toward future Video Games purchase.

    I personally bought off Amazon. No tax and free shipping :D

    I'm not a big PC gamer...what exactly does that mean? And does it affect consoles?

    Walmart has raised their coupon from 10 to 20...This is because they are trying to get back some of the pre-orders that were canceled.

    Not so sure about that - they also raised the price of the game $10, so their price is still the same. Also note that their coupon is online only, and Amazons was for future game purchases, I believe.

    Its a nice gesture but I would much rather see the game have $20 preorder discount or something so you can save that money now.

    Well, for starters, PC gamers will be hit with a $10 price increase for no apparent reason. Console games are $60 due to franchise fees associated with MS & Sony. PC has no franchise fees giving no grounds for this increase besides sheer greed.

    Secondly, removal of dedicated servers is a huge issue for online PC gaming. IW are launching IW.net (a matchmaking client like consoles) for PCs. No offense to consoles, but PC gamers spend thousands of dollars on their systems, if they wanted a console experience they would just buy the $200 xbox.

    But the way of connecting to an online game is not all this changes, it also removes PCs ability to mod and create custom content. Enabling IW to charge for DLC such as map packs and the like, similar to consoles. Which is an insult to PC gamers everywhere.

    There is also a petition that has over 150,000 signatures atm. I'm not saying its gonna be a bad game, I loved CoD4 :). I'm just not going to be supporting it, because of what IW/Activision are trying to do to PC gaming.

    Also, multiplayer on both PC and console will be capped at 16 players (8 vs 8). The fact that Mods wont be allowed means there is no way around this limit. MW2 is just taking a big step backwards in terms of what PC gaming should be.

    Its pretty impressive how MW2 went from being one of the most highly anticipated games in recent years to being the game with the most canceled preorders. They didn't just shoot themselves in the foot, they blew it off with a cannon.

    If you're looking for a great Modern Warfare 2 deal, people who trade in two games from this list. get $40 toward MW2 at GameStop.

    And of course, preordering from GameStop entitles you to enter Surprize Attack. The contest's only going til Tuesday 11/10, but that's 4 days to get awesome TF-141 gear! I'm working on this promotion, so let me know if you have any questions.

    You can enter twice a day on 11:10:09 (Hmmm... those numbers look awful familiar... :p )

    Yeah the small multiplayer really puts a damper on this game for me. I think I will pass.

    Multi-Player cap is 18, not 16. Apparently it's different for certain modes? but Max multi-player is 9v9.
