Its not bad since it has e-sata, its rare to see one of those cheap, but I wish I knew what was inside of it.

As a comparison there was the staples deal to get a 1TB WD Mybook about 2 weeks ago for like $78 but it was usb only :(

Works fine for storing media though.

Had I not just got the WD I would definitely get this though as I was out of space also.

Various people have reported different drives, probably because Cavalry uses whatever happens to be cheapest at the time. Some have gotten Hitachi Deskstar 7200RPM drives, while others have gotten slower WD Caviar Green 5400RPM drives.

    Received my drive today.

The drive is in a black metal enclosure with plastic endcaps, and hard drive cannot be removed without voiding the 1-year warranty. The drive inside is a Hitachi Deskstar 7200RPM drive.

The drive comes with a plastic stand, a power cable, a USB 2.0 cable, an eSATA cable, and an "eSATA connectivity kit". This kit is basically a port to be added to a PCI expansion slot of a desktop, and connects to the motherboard.
