I decided to buy this after looking at junk, even on ebay its hard to beat this deal

349 for a Dual Core pentium 3gb 350gb LED HDMI

seems good enough for what I need ( I don't play games)

That is a nice laptop for $350. Great solid all around performer. Better than any netbook or most subcompact notebooks especially for that price. Even comes with Wi-Fi N and gigabit ethernet, and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit so you don't have to scrounge around for a 64-bit DVD if you wanted 4GB RAM. Only bad thing I see is it comes with a 6-cell battery, so probably meh battery life, but still most likely more than two hours.

Not bad, HOWEVER, Dell is currently doing a 20% off all Latitudes from the outlet.

You can find for that price an E6400 or so if you are patient. It will be 400ish (hopefully before 20% off coupon) and will, more importantly, come with a THREE (3) year warranty.

Also, it will have a business build (sturdier) and in my opinion a much, much more useful 16:10 vs 16:9 display (personal preference).

If you can return it in a few days (and you manage to snag something better) I'd suggest it.

Otherwise, that is a very tempting offer, I just have a dislike for Gateway personally.
