Now the issue is their definition of "cost".
if compusa's definition of cost is including all overhead, operating cost etc, the savings won't be much.....
will see..... -
Yeah, I got just an email from them about this. What does it exactly mean? How do we know how much the item costs for them? Will this actually be a good deal or not?
Okay, I've checked on some forums where CompUSA has this similar sale and people said you barely saved anything, and I wouldn't expect CompUSA to have big sales anyways. But how can we tell what cost CompUSA pays for an item? Is there a way to tell before this sale occurs what of an item we're interested in will be? -
True. But, I figured I might as well go check it out. I need to get some stuff anyway. Mind as well wait till Sunday night. Who knows, they may have a deal or two worth fighting over.

Anybody else have anything to say about this "sale" CompUSA's having? Guess we'll see little if any discounts on notebooks eh?

I have been to a few of these sales and got laptops for like $300...not very good ones...just base, but you never know what you will find until you get there.
-
no new laptop has ever sold for $300
-
Not ture.... Dell had their Inspiron 2200 going for $399 after rebates. + you could use the $45 off coupon and fatwallet.com and get it for around $350.
CompUSA sale - 5% above their cost
