This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    The Compaq CQ50-110US laptop is on sale at Big Lots this week for $399. The specs are:

    2.0ghz AMD Turion X2 RM-70 processor
    3gb DDR2 Ram
    200gb HDD
    Dual layer DVD RW drive
    15.4" LCD 1200x800
    nVidia 8200m graphics
    Vista home premium

    Good deal for the specs IMO
