I see the V3000t is at $499 thru Hp home and the V6000z is at $530..which would you recommend. I will be using it in my basement in a wireless capacity for mostly inernet. I want something pretty quick..or if you have another recommendation? or last question..should i wait a couple of weeks more towards Christmas..do the deals get a good bit better? Thanks

If you won't be toting it around everywhere, go for the v6000. Also if you care at all about graphics the basic graphics card (integrated) in the 6000 is way better than the 3000t. Nvidia 6150 good, Intel 950 very bad.

TheV3000t is best for your money because longer battery life and more portable. 6150 is pretty much a hybrid graphic card, it would also use shared rams similarly like the built in 950. Benchmark is 6105~ 700's and 950 ~ 470. Make sure you get the imprint...it looks much better. Or if you are using the laptop as a desktop replacement, you can go with the V6000z if its plugged in all the time. Bigger screen and slightly higher graphics.
