My kids stole two of my pairs of balls. I think I'll have to put them in a jar in the cupboard.

Just wanted too give a update that i think it was Tuesday i finally got my cool balls in :)

And right now i have them on my m11x r2 which fits good on it, At first i thought they would get in the way of the bottom fan vent but it doesn't, But one thing i don't like about them is my m11x will slide all over the place on a hard surface.. Like its on ice.. lol would've been nice if they were rubber coated. But ya i do like them still and might have too mod them a bit maybe some rubber coating. Oh and i like how you can take them off, At first i thought you have too keep them on always which would've been bad because my m11x would've fit in my sleeve bag lol

Now i have too figure what else im going too put the balls on lol i was thinking of my ps3 too lift it up too give it air on the bottom. Probably would work great on keyboards too might try 2 on my black widow ut, Or even my receiver so it gets more air on the bottom.

Did you try putting on the two rubber stickers at the front end of your m11x? That would stop the sliding issue with your m11x. :D

I got mine yesterday and my god they are so big, I dunno if it will work with the 8740w! (I know, the jokes are everywhere with that last statement! :p)

Hmm didn't know that would stop it from sliding, will put them on when i get home :)

They should work fine for the 8740w, if they fit on the m11x which is way smaller than i don't see a problem them fitting on a 17incher :)

However it looks like one of them has to be placed on the battery as there isn't much room to put them that isn't near a ventilation spot.

The great thing is, when you pick the front end up you can now slide your laptop in any position you want. Yay for balls!

Yeah thats what I did with the W90, it did not move around at all with the front down, but when I needed to scoot the laptop to reposition it easier without picking it up it was so easy and hassle free.

My system does slide around a bit if I put a little pressure on the front. The pads don't have 100% contact since it's at an angle. But it doesn't move with just normal use. Can't say I've noticed any improvement in temperatures, but the angle definitely helps with typing. Problem is I'm used to throwing my headphones on the keyboard and now they just slide off onto the floor.

Got my four sets of balls, placed a set on the front of my Acer so it slants backwards. On my table, it's more ergonomical to slant backwards with my wrists straight.
