Crucial has had great reviews from what I've seen, and the M225 hangs with the 80GB X-25M in performance, and is faster than the 160GB.

My 64GB Crucial M225 was great during the time I used it. Using it gave me an appreciation for the Indilinx Barefoot controller.
So the 256GB version will perform even better.
I've also seen that they have a painless RMA process. -

Looks like the egg's price has dropped again to $579. The question now is whether you think a 5 year warranty is worth the extra $~85. -
