Wow, prices have sure changed since I last bought memory. Too bad I didn't wait and buy now.

Decided that it would be a waste of money to buy 1GB x 2 especially since I will be running vista with quite a few appls at the same time.
So I went for 4GB at almost $80 GB and won't have to worry any more for upgrades in the near future.Attached Files:

Make sure you're running a 64bit OS, otherwise 4GB won't do you any good.

I'm very tempted by one of these Transcend 2GB modules: http://www.memory-configurator.co.uk/memory/TS256MSQ64V6U.html . It's the equivalent of about US$200! I found that site when seeking a second opinion on the pricing at http://www.orcalogic.co.uk/asp/prodtype.asp?prodtype=20855&ft=s&st=2 which has just dropped by about 20% and is now at 40% of the price of 2 months ago.
