One of Newegg's marketplace sellers has the Crucial M500 960 GB 2.5-inch SSD for $104.99 (plus tax if applicable) shipped. This is a crazy price for what is essentially a 1 TB SSD. Even crazier - it was $95 yesterday. It might be an older drive, but it uses MLC NAND flash, which might be important for some of you.

    That's a great deal.

I got a kinda low-rent A-DATA SU650 960GB 2.5-inch SSD for a little under $100 about a month ago (just using it for storage, nothing crazy), but would have picked this one up had it been available.

If nothing else, you'd have a six month "warranty" through PayPal or something similar with your credit card company. For what it's worth, the unit I received was sealed, albeit not in a box.

Just FYI to anyone who might be interested, this drive is 9.5 mm tall so it might not fit in some thinner laptops. I have it mounted in my desktop PC so that wasn't a concern.
