    If I had money to burn id upgrade the 2 msata ssd that came stock in the GT70 to 2 of these... that would be fun.

    840 Pro has better performance overall, but the M4 is still a solid performer and for the price you just can't beat it, period. Unless you do lots of SSD to SSD copies it really won't matter.

    I have a 250 Samsung coming for a primary, but would it be good to add a msata drive to speed up the reg drive?

    It wouldn't speed it up. Samsung is great performance. The "cache" drive is really only a good idea for hard drives. It can't hurt to have extra storage though. :)

    Thanks for the thread! I had ordered a Crucial 256gb Msata a few days ago for the new laptop. Talked to Amazon and they dropped 40 dollars off the price for me to match the current sale.
