Price dropped to $319 just a few minutes ago, down from their normal price of $379. Now there is also a $30 MIR available, taking the price down to $289 if you are lucky enough to get the rebate.
The lowest I've ever seen this drive at was $315...a few months ago before SSDs were in short supply.
The OCZ Agility 120GB has a three year warranty, up to 230MB/s read speed, up to 135MB/s write speed, with a sustained write speed of ~80MB/s over long periods of time and around 10-20MB/s random 4k write speed. Firmware is available that supports garbage collection or TRIM.

Thats a good find Greg, and really tempting.
Its hard to settle for the Agility though with the Intel G2 about and as for OCZ I was always set on the Vertex.
Oh dont forget newegg has bing.com cashback.
edit: pfft nevermind looks like newegg is not participating in bing.com cashback anymore. They used to be on there for like 3% all the time and had that 10% special the other day but now I do not see them on there at all.
Here is what I would probably save for: http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=10010798&prodlist=froogle $433 for the G2 intel 160gb so I get the 40gb of space more (that I really need) use the 2% bing cashback too.
Divide about $425/160gb = $2.65 per GB cost
$320/120GB for the agility = $2.66 per GB cost
So the agility is more expensive per GB and thats how I would judge the price personally all the while not neary as nice as the G2 intel an any way shape or form.
If you do not need the speed or capacity of the intel and want a SSD NOW, then I see this as a good deal still. -
But as far as the Agility goes...it uses the same controller, but non-Samsung flash modules. Sometimes they use slightly slower flash compared to the Vertex, and sometimes they use slightly faster flash compared to the Vertex. Either way, not much of a performance difference and definitely worth thinking about.
Intel G2? Good drive, but higher cost/GB ratio. Not to mention they have a solid history of bad firmware updates. -
There's a $30 mail in rebate on it now, too, that drops the price to $289.

I noticed that! Deal is even hotter now!

Sigh miss the days when this was <$250:

Still a pretty good deal now that flash prices have shot up. -

I said I would get a SSD when I can get it for $2.00 per GB for a good model.
@ 257 this is pretty close, its going to be a hard call for me.
I think I will stick to my guns and wait longer, I dont really need one, its just a want too many purchases of the late to keep adding more to the bill -
When Dell sells their 256GB Samsung SSDs in the $400 range that's sub $2/GB. They keep fluctuating the price on it. Anyway people are reporting that they are coming with the latest firmware which means background garbage collection is enabled.

Samsung: good performance, high capacity and best price/GB
Indilinx: better performance, high capacity but more expensive
Intel: best performance, decent capacity, most expensive..
Neither are perfect, depends on what you want/need. -
Well, the deal was too good with Bing to pass up. Got one for the new laptop I just ordered.
-
Yup, mine is going to be delivered tomorrow.

Back up to the usual $379 ripoff at NewEgg. No BCB, but the $30MIR is still there.
DEAD - SMOKING HOT - 120GB OCZ Agility SSD - $319 ($257AR+Bing) @ NewEgg
