That is awesomeness... it seems like a better deal than the Gateway P7805 and Sager NP8662! I've got my P7805u on its way, so I'm fine. I'd love to see some fellow NBR members pick up that beast though.

If only it supported quad core :(

This is a good one to buy and then self upgrade to a better cpu & ram and stuff, its a good get away cheap deal.

Much better than the referb gateways that were selling at a similar price a while back.

I wonder how well this would sell on eBay. Dual 9800M GT is nothing to scoff at, but all the other outdated things are... nonetheless... Dual SLI 9800M GT... mhmmhpmhmphh i need moneys.

What's dell's return policy on this? lol.

Unfortunately it's an outdated Santa Rosa platform (current is Montevina) which is what limits the laptop. Still, most games are bottle necked by the GPU, so the Dual SLI 9800M GT is amazing at that price.

Yeah, those are pretty much what's available for the laptop.

Plus where on earth do you get a x9000 all i can find is the x9100?!? And how is the battery with the 85whr or the 9cell?

9800gt SLI > GTX260 as long as the game your playing has good support for SLI (most games do) but if your playing a game with just one card the GTX260 will be better.

I wouldnt expect great battery life out of a dual gpu laptop.

How does the T9300(2.5 GHz, 6MB Cache) compare against the T8100(2.1 GHz, 3MB Cache)? For 185 bucks, is it worth the upgrade especially while playing a CPU dependent game like GTA IV?

I use a T9300 in my X205, its pretty fast IMO. Dunno about GTA4, I don't think it runs to well on dual cores, I may be mistaken though. :)

Well min spec for GTA4 cpu is a 1.8 dual, but recommended is a 2.4 quad, cant really get more non-specific then that..
