    Tax for NYS makes me a sad puppy. :(

    B & H actually sells quite a variety of items, and does have pretty good deals on occasion. The fact that it is NYS based is usually a killer for me though.

    For me, this is a very tempting lappy...very tempting..I've been looking for a nice 13" ~ 14" lappy. Nice priced esp. with the rebates.

    .hehehe pull the trigger cin ...I did pull the trigger on my X83VP-A1....hehe hehe

    And I also pulled a trigger on a Nikon Nikkor 14-24 .... and Nikon Nikkor 24-70 2.8G and Nikon Nikkor 70-300 VR ....

    Now just need to wait for the next new full frame body come out pull trigger on that and maybe new Canon 70-200 2.8 IS USM II ...... Yes digital photoraphy is a bottomless hole...way bigger than laptop/desktop ...

    How much battery life would this get? More than 2 hrs with wifi off just typing?

    I'm guessing 3 hours tops. and that is if you are lucky. the GPU and the CPU is quite powerful. someone reviewed it on youtube and said it only gets 2.5 hours. i think.

    If you turn the screen to lowest and on power saving with no games what so ever you might be able to get 3 hrs ....

    Should have acted quicker. But circumstances delayed me. :(

    I'll probably get the X83VP-X1 instead. But after losing this deal, there is a bitter feeling to it.

    However, this thread did perform one vital function. Thanks to this, I learned the existence of Bing. I do believe that I just saved $10 on a textbook by using it. So thx, cin!
