    Dell $300 off coupon no longer working?

    When I try to put in the coupon code for $300 off a $1299 laptop it has a pop up stating "Sorry, this coupon code has already been redeemed".
    What gives?

    If it is no longer working, I have a quote from a Dell rep they emailed me yesterday for an Inspiron 1520 that was listed as $1369, but the quote says $1069, so could I just email them and tell them I want to purchase what was given to me quoted in an email? (the email doesnt even mention a coupon code, it just has the components and the price of $1069, thats it)

    It would be worth a shot, but if they make you configure it again to order, you might be SOL. They're not too forgiving on coupon codes not working, from what I understand.

    Many of the coupon codes that you'll find around the internet have limitations on the number of people allowed to use them (in most cases 4000). You're best chance now seems to be trying to get the quote you have fulfilled, but if that doesn't work out then there will most likely be another coupon that you can wait for.

    Went to dell.com/quote and got it fulfilled for the $1069 price quoted, and it worked! Got a sweet deal even after the coupon expired... awesome.
    Another cool thing, the quote site I went through didnt add tax to the order, the receipt I saw on the checkout page and the email stated all that was charged to my card is $1069, no tax, no shipping, hopefully they dont notice...
