Does anyone have PICTURES or REVIEWS you are willing to post up? This laptop seems like an EXCELLENT deal (comparable to the MBP) but it sure does seem UGLY in Dell's pictures.

They actually look OK in person. I was checking them out at my local Dell Kiosk - they didn't have a working model, but they had some dummy models at least (of the 1420 specifically, but the fit and finish should be the same).

They seem to have a generally solid feel, and the colors look nice as well.

I think the only knock I'd have against them if I was comparing with the MBP would be the difference in weight and thickness (also haven't seen how the screens compare), but it's definitely hard to argue with the price and they seem pretty solid overall.

Man, for that price, it makes me wonder if my MBP was worth it.

I don't know, I wouldn't feel like you made a mistake with the MBP. Personally I'm thinking of the choice between the two as well, but I really do like the lighter weight of the MBP, the 1" thickness, the LED-backlit screen, and of course, OS X itself.

I think they're both pretty nice deals, so whatever someone gets though, they are getting a pretty nice machine.
