You can get this configuration for only $860!!!

Ok, how you get the deal..

    1) Sign up for a fatwallet account http://www.fatwallet.com/
    2) Go to the dell home site and find the dell 700m
    3) Configure it just like I configured it. Because the total is $1498 you must make it reach $1499. To do this select some cheap extra. I selected the Dell multimedia Remote for only $10 extra!!!
    4) Then use the $500 off $1499+ coupon: 8QG$0WW01?GKBQ
    5) Then use the $100 off $1499 stackable coupon. (You get this buy playing the dell holiday game, and is very easy to get. If you don't want to do that you can buy 1 on ebay for $2-3.) After these 2 coupons it will bring the price down to $908
    6) Sign up and check out with a dell preferred card, saving you 2%. Dell prefferred card + fatwallet will take 5% off the total system price. You will recieve the fatwallet 3% in a check or by paypal about 60-90 days after the purchase. like a rebate.
    7) After You get the 2% off and 3% off for fatwallet it will bring the price down to $860!!! What a crazy deal!!

    LOL

    Its like a salesman AD.

Sadly the 700m doesnt support Dual Channel, so its a no-no for me. Its gotta have at least a Intel 915G board for dual channel

Yup, too bad it's not applicable in Canada. If you stumble upon a good deal, let us know (Dell Canada).

Even if you can find some stackable coupon (any amount - $50, $100 ect) that would help. I am yet to find a stackable one.

2 my knowlage there is no way to get the XPS M140 down using any coupons. Only Fatwallet.com will take of 3% and 2% if you pay using a dell preferred card. So you can get a total of 5% off.

The only difference inbetween the 630m and the XPS M14 is the logo, and the 630m doesn't offer Windows Xp Media Center 2005 to be added to it. The XPS comes in nicer boxing and comes with a few extra acessories, and also has better tech support. However going through dell small business you can get the 630m for $759 after you use dell preferred and fatwallet.

Its really too bad the 630m hasn't been released yet in dell home, otherwise we could really get the price down by using some coupons.

Hey how does that $100 stackable discount work? How do you play the game to get it? Think it will work for my 140?

Hi, to play the dell holliday game go to:

    http://www1.us.dell.com/content/products/category.aspx/notebooks?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs

Then look at the bottom left and it says the dell holiday game. Click. Create an account and play. If you don't win a good coupon the first time, recreate an account and try again. The $100 off $1499 stackable coupons are about 1 in 6 trys.

I just tried the $100 off $1499 coupon and the $50 off $999 for the dell XPS M140 and they both worked. So you could get the basic configuration of the M140 for $949 + check out using a dell preferred card and use a fatwallet.com account to get 5% off. This would bring the price down to just over $900 + You get a free Dell DJ ditty 512!! If you don't want it you can sell it on ebay for around $70, knocking the total price of the XPS down to $830. Quite a good price....
