If you have been frustrated by recent Dell coupons that don't work on a customized 9300, then you may be interested in the Dell 25% off coupon I found at Deals2Buy. The coupon code is J2SK0J?KC21T12, and it is valid from 11/9/05 - 11/14/05.

I customized the following 9300 laptop at Dell Home. After entering the coupon code, the price was $1131 plus $24 for handling:

    Inspiron 9300 Intel® Pentium® M Processor 740 (1.73 GHz/2MB Cache/533MHz FSB)
Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2005
    17 inch UltraSharp™ Wide Screen XGA+ Display
    512MB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz 2 Dimm
    256MB NVIDA® GeForce™ Go 6800
    60GB Hard Drive
Integrated 10/100 Network Card and Modem
    Adobe® Acrobat® Reader 6.0
    24X CD Burner/DVD Combo Drive
    Intel® PRO/Wireless 2200 Internal Wireless (802.11 b/g, 54Mbps)
    Corel WordPerfect word processor only
    No Security Subscription
6-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery (53 WHr)
1Yr Ltd Warranty, 1Yr Mail-In Service, and 1Yr Technical Support
    Recycle SKU Free Recycling Kit
Microsoft® Windows® XP Media Center 2005 Edition backup CD

Note that the system price before the coupon must be above $1499 for the coupon to work.

I am still thinking if I should get an HP V4000T or this one. The only thing i concern is this one is too big to carry out.
