Not bad but I have to point out that this is for the low-end display - this system will only shine with the 1920x1200 display. Also, the fact that it has only a single GPU adds to the question mark of going in via Microsoft.

In any event, thanks for posting. :)

It says 2GB so isn't it crossfire?

Well, its either crossfire or a typo... only way to know for sure would be to contact Micro$oft. :)

Again, you are still dealing with the display factor. If you are content with the 1440 though...

I was just wondering because you were saying "it has only a single GPU " and I could see 2 GB.

Yeah well who knows. The only way though how it can compete with newegg offer is if it has crossfire setup: Newegg.com -Alienware M17x

Earlier this year the Microsoft Store offered an obsolete M17x with the same old fashioned CCFL screen for $1199!

Folks, this is not a big deal, unless you're one of the rare few who actually wants a Zune and are willing to pay any price to get it.

Dual GPU guys, i bought this bundle... everyone keeps saying i'll really regret it because of the screen, but it doesn't matter since i bought it for the processing power only anyway.
