Thanks. The problem was AdBlock addon on Chrome. I signed up for bing account. I already ordered actually the laptop from Dell today. Any way to get a Bing discount without canceling?

 

You don't need to be on the Shopping Page for the 10% ~ to access the 10%, you need to do it the way described above! : )

I think you can only use Bing at the "Point Of Purchase". Otherwise, you will have to cancel, and start from the beginning...sorry

Yeah ok. I also need $5 on my Bing account (with no instruction on bing how to actually put it there ??!).

 

It works fine through Bing.com and search for Dell laptop. Just turn off adblock or any other sort of program before trying it because it blocks the sponsored results.

 

Nono..You shouldn't have to have any money in your Bing account unless something has changed...

You need at least $5 "accrued" in your Bing Account to w/drawl what you have accumulated

Ah ok, thanks alot! It was my mistake, I didn't read through carefully. I got it now. I sort of just read through it quickly as I was on the phone with Dell and was sort of reading it while on hold...

After spending 30-40 mins more to cancel the order, I just went through as you described through the dreaded IE .

So I guess now hope I get that e-mail... not that I distrust M$ or anything.

I think that once you receive your actual Order Confirmation from Dell, you can look forward to seeing the Bing Confirmatiion email anytime after that.

Sure, I can. I've done it.
I paid for my BluRay Player with Dell DPA, when Bing was at 20% (that was on Black Friday)
My cost I believe was $129.88 less 3% brought it to $126.09 w/Dell DPA + tax. Then the Bing CB of $25.22 which I was able to Cash Out approx. 60 days later when it was deemed availi'!

Here it is:



I went in the portal as described above..Paid for it with Dell DPA w/the Discount allotted it was 3% I believe (as is now for DPA).

At checkout, you have to checkout like your going to pay with a Credit Card, then switch to "pay with Dell DPA save 3%"...or, if you already have Dell DPA Pay "Choose Pay with Your DPA" and pay as you normally would.

Pay with the Dell DPA, & checkout..and get your order confirmation. Then, you will get your normal Bing Cashback e-mail confirmation per normal.

You will not see the Bing CB discount anywhere on Dell's site or at checkout..this come's to you in separately via e-mail confirmation. You will only see you Dell 3% DPA Discount at Checkout!

No, I have not made up my mind yet.
I'm currently looking at getting the m11x
or maybe one of the new vostros.

 

Oh I'm not sure how long the CB will last..I'm hoping til at least 3/17 (St. Patty's Day) would be nice! There is something I want to purchase, but I am holding out for another week!

Same here, still waiting... I did order when it said 10% though. It seemed really too good, it was 10% off anything on Dell Home and Home Office...

screen? I type the @hotmail.com address that I use to sign on to Bing Cashback. Or was I supposed to type the one that inside cashback account where it says "We send communications about your cashback account to this email address"

You use the the e-mail that you signed for with MSN to access the Bing Cashback deals (ie. the Hotmail/Live account e-mail addy XXX@hotmail. com/XXX@live. com)

So, yes your hotmail.com addy.

P.S. Just noticed the Dell website (*sigh*) didn't apply my nameplate ("Unreal") so I'll have to do that manually with a black marker...

Ah, the nameplate is not a big deal. I thought maybe they could put the service tag on the name plate , but I can't know it in advance...

In any case, maybe you can put little note "disable adblock otherwise you won't see bing cashback" for other folks, I guess I'm not the only one using it... but once you said I see it in IE I just knew what was going on...

I have 2 addons in Chrome, AdBlock and AdBlock button, what you (others) can do is just disable it on bing.com:
