This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    OUCH. I thought The "prices start" prices were BEFORE the savings. You can get the exact same Vostro for hundreds less...

    ^^ that's not true! If your comparing spec to specs, the Vostros don't even compare. It all depends on what you want...Yes the Vostros start out less so if you want a more basic system then go there, but if you want it beef up, like some of these deals, your best bet is going with an Inspiron.
