I'm speccing out an Inspiron E1505 on the Dell site. Now, currently, without adding any other coupon or rebate codes there is either a $400 or $200 rebate on the model, depending on which of the base setups you choose. I've tried speccing a laptop out so that it exceeds $1999 on both the original price and discount price to use the $750 dollar rebate offered. However, when I try to use the coupon code for it, the site claims it as invalid. I doubt that it has exceeded uses already but I don't know why I cannot use the $750 coupon. I know it will not stack with the rebate offered by Dell, but it won't replace that discount with my own $750 one. I'm sorry if that's confusing. I've tried to get the laptop through the Home & Home Office and well as Small Business sections, and no dice on either with the discount. Can someone help me out?

    Any help would be appreciated.

First up,coupon codes can be found here. Choose the approppriate coupon. And when they say $1999,look at the price that has a "strike" through it. Dell website uses that amount and applies the coupon to that one,and NOT the one in bold.

i'm trying to use the 999+ e1505 coupon, and i get to the Verify and Submit Order page. However, when i get to the page, the discount does not appear. Is this right?

by the time you read the other post the code will be expired and new ones will be issued. you might try these sites that i've been watching for dell deals and they usually have links right to them...xpbargains.com (updated daily), dealsatnet.com and bradsdeals.com are just a few.
