    $1524 is the starting price is for the system I'd listed in my original post. Maybe if you'd actually gone through and configured it, you would have noticed. I guess I can spell it out...

    Slot DVD + Qflix instead of Blu-ray (-$280)
    1440x900 LED instead of WUXGA (-$75)
    Add Bluetooth (+$20)
    Upgrade to Intel Wireless N (+$35)

    New starting price: $1824 - $300 = $1524
