Bronsky in the What Notebook Should I Buy section posted this Dell Inspiron 11z for $299. It comes with the Intel i3-330UM which is worlds better than most netbook CPU's, although GPU has a bit to be desired, but better than Atom and comparable to AMD C-50/60. So if you're looking for a cheap 11.6" netbook with good computing power (non-Atom) at an excellent price, better jump on it!

Any clue how that processor compares to the E-350? I only paid about 10 bucks more for my DM1z...
-
In Passmark(CPU benchmark):
E-350: 727
330UM: 1203
In 3DMark06:
6310M: 2072
Intel HD: 1494 -
i3 CPU is much faster, but the GPU is much faster in the E-350.
-
Why? The 6310 can't even handle 10 year old command and conquer games without substantial lag, making it unplayable. It's better just to go a better CPU
Source: Owned an E-350 / 6310 last year.
Great find/price for the 11z btw.
If you're a student, I'd also recommend an upgrade to the Basic next-day warranty for 18$. Waiting 10-14 days for the ghetto warranty is terrible during school semesters. -

Maybe it was too much units? Maybe it was the map or a certain condition if it was fine for you on 4 players, because I just couldn't get rid of the lag at all
I also tested SC2 on everything low and I couldn't play any custom games at all, but that's asking alot out of a 6310 lol.
@MSGaldenzi:
I'm surprised it could handle HoN, wow. -
SC2 runs fine as well, single player, and one on one, even two on two I tried a few times and it was acceptable. Maybe you were using crappy drivers or something.

Thanks. I just ordered one yesterday.
I was torn between dm1z and 11z and decided to go with dell because I don't play games. ^^
edit: It will replace my old but still strong(^^) Gateway E100m
Dell Inspiron 11z $299!
