I guess Dell doesn't want to be outdone with the sub-$400 laptop offer so starting on 11/23 (TOMORROW NOT TODAY) they will have a basic config Inspiron 2200 available for $399 after a $100 rebate and $150 instant savings (256MB, Celeron M, 40GB HD, Windows XP Home). No coupons will be needed, it'll just be there and the rebate will be mail-in. This is Dell Business not Home, so you'll pay taxes no matter what.

Wasn't there a $24 handling fee and 90 day warranty? You may want to factor than in when comparing it to the HP at Wal-Mark. Much prefer a Mobile Sempron over a Celeron M.

Just for kicks today, I dropped by the local walmart, and all they had was 10 of the laptops, pretty good buy for a low end laptop, but no way i'm camping for one, I get my new fully loaded inspiron 9300 (30% coupon).
