First off I just want to say thanks to this forum Everyone is so great and helpful! I just wasn't sure if these coupons are for the business section only? I tried using them on an xps m1530, but it stated that the coupon wasn't valid for the consumer section I was in. Are these only for the business line? Thanks again guys for your generosity.

Yes, there only good in Dell's Small and Medium Business (SMB) section of the site. But Dell's SMB site sells the XPS M1530, but I think it's more expensive.

Well I tried it out on the XPS M1530 on SMB, but it didn't work. I looked at the fine print and it doesn't say anywhere that it excludes the XPS systems, so you might try calling Dell to see if they would let you use it over the phone. If they would let you the base system price would be $699...pretty sweet!

EDIT: if you removed the lojack it would make it less than $699! Might be worth call to check!

Thanks for the quick reply Christopher. I did end up finding the 1530's on the dell section. They are a little higher priced, but I think with the savings you still come out better. It was still having trouble recognizing the coupon, but I am on the phone with Dell right now and their working on it. Once again I appreciat the generosity and I will let you know if it works.

By the way nice sig and pic. I am a Music Pastor at house of restoration COG in Ohio. If you ever want to check it out our website is www.hofr.org.

I'll try and find the "real" details and post them soon, but in the mean time - There good for any desktops and/or notebooks in Dell's SMB (Although it doesn't say so, the XPS systems are not include). These coupons do not stack with the instant saving.

For those who don't have the coupons:

    I configured a D630 w/ a 25% off coupon I rec'd.

It only dropped the final price about $60 more when compared to the "normal" discount which gets automatically applied.

Better than nothing, but no big deal. Someone adding every option might get their savings over $100-150, but not on the mid range system I configured. Maybe try bargaining on the phone for a better deal. Seen this mentioned before but not sure it works.

I worked on these some yesterday. They will work if you get on the phone with Dell and kind of work with them, however I ended up just getting the Asus I was going to get. These will not work with the XPS's and I can't vouch for the coupon below, but the 30% one from previous wouldn't work yesterday. The guy looked it up and said it was only directed towards servers, so I don't know if you could work the 30% off of a computer, unless you really talked with them and tried to get them to work it out.
