    I saw this deal on the Dell website and the specs are fantastic for $699! - LINK!

    Hmm...it says the video card upgrade is free, but when I add it, the price goes up by $125. If that can get worked out, this is a good deal. :D

    Edit: Nevermind, talked to a rep. Should be fixed in a few hours.

    Just started shopping for one of these for the wife to replace her aging Inspiron 9300 from like 3 years ago.
    How is this:
    T6600
    900p screen
    4gb RAM
    500gb 7200
    (basically the configuration you mentioned above)
    But I added this for her since its her Xmas present and she wanted them:
    Ruby red color +$40
    Backlit keyboard +$25

    Total + tax and free shipping = total $835

    This is even cheaper than the ones on their outlet with better specs.
    Should I go ahead and order this one now or wait until Black Friday or one of the big holiday sales?
    Haven't been tracking Dell's ups-and-downs sales on these things so I don't know how low they can go brand new.

    I went ahead and purchased the above configuration plus the two extra add-ons for the wife yesterday. Should be here by the end of November and will sit all wrapped up under the tree until Xmas.

    Thanks for posting the deal. Placed the order for the Ruby Red with backlit KB and Bluetooth add-ons. There was an additional 3% discount at the end for using Dell credit.

    It was a great deal while it lasted, but it appears that Dell has pulled the plug on this one! :(

    They now have a $699 configuration identical to this one EXCEPT it has Intel integrated graphics (GMA 4500MHD). Upgrading to the ATI HD 4570 adds $125 to the price...it's the best deal they have on the Studio 15, at the moment- LINK
