Have there been any decent Dell deals on Studio XPS 13 notebooks lately? If so, what was it and when? Should any new deals be coming up soon?

I get a $1000 Dell gift card towards the purchase of a new PC for my MCSA training. I already have a netbook and a 17" notebook, so figured I'd get one in between, and the Studio XPS looks pretty powerful. Here's how I'd prefer it configured:

    P8700 2.53GHz Core 2 Duo
    Vista Home Premium 64-bit
WXGA Standard LCD display (not LED)
    4GB DDR3
    500GB 7200 RPM HDD
    Slot load DVDRW (standard)
    GeForce 9500M
    Wireless N (standard)
Bluetooth (not needed, but only $20)

This totals to $1344. I'd obviously prefer to get it cheaper (under $1000) if at all possible.

Anyhow, thoughts, suggestions, just shut up and wait?

My guess is Dell is trying to clear out what they got left in XPS M1330 before discounting the Studio XPS 13 too much.

Funny thing is that I just spec'ed out an M1330 similarly equipped and it cost $200 more!

    T9300 2.5GHz Core 2 Duo
    Vista Home Premium 64-bit
WXGA Standard LCD display (not LED)
    4GB DDR2
    500GB 7200 RPM HDD
    SLot load DVDRW
    GeForce 8400m GS
    Wireless N
    Bluetooth

$1524. I don't see any coupons or anything either.

The reason being is there are 30% off coupons floating around for this notebook thats why its so expensive. Go with the 1340 and call it a day :D
