From what I understand, one should wait till after the 10 days, and supposedly there will be a big sale. I heard this from someone, so don't quote me on that ...it's basically a heads up.

But if you find an amazing deal during the 10 days, then go for it.

I'd go ahead and order, then if there's a better deal you can cancel the order. You don't want to miss out on something great waiting for something better. I made that mistake once, and nothing better came. :(

    o really? That sucks mzimm.

Looks like you got a nice rig there yourself. I kinda dont want the hassle to cancel and then send the machine back...but it is true that I dont want to miss out on a deal. im sure there will always be the 750 off 2000, and my coupon expires july 21...so maybe order like july 17-20?

If your coupon doesn't expire until after the 10 days of deals, I would just wait. The deal should be the same after, so you should be able to get the same deal after as you could now if the 10 days of deals doesn't bring anything good.

Well, the first day of deals seems to be a pretty bust. The notebook is utterly worthless; the desktop seems to be decent, but 35% off issn't a big deal by any means. The camera deal is ok, but nothing to write home about. Hopefully we'll see better deals as the week goes on. Actually, I kind of hope that the deals aren't any better, since I really don't need to spend any more money.

Same. I still need a laptop before September when the new semester starts. I dont feel like programming on campus using the school's greatly outdated PCs running XP Pro...

Does anyone know what is wrong with Dell? The delas today are THE SAME as yesterday....if they are going to run a promo, why wouldn't they update their website?

I need a laptop - nothing fancy, so I am hoping something good will pop up...

You think they'll do anything on the Latitudes? Have they done in the past? Right there is a 450 coupon off Latitudes above 1799, but I don't think it's part of the deals.

Does anyone know what the notebook deal was yesterday on this? If you select notebooks/home/office it comes up on right hand side of screen then click on it. The e1405 deal today seems excellent! Does anyone know what the deal was yesterday on notebooks? Thanks!

I believe that yesterday's deal was on the B130 for $499 or something in that range. I think the deal for the E1405 is a better deal, especially with the specs included.

I was thinking of going for a different notebook, but don't think I can pass up this deal.

I personally don't think the deal is that great.

    8X CD/DVD Burner (DVD+/-RW)
    Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 802.11a/g
    Total: $699 + TAX

    A month ago I got:

Well both of those deals seem good to me. I'd buy the current deal if I was in the market for the a 14" with a gig of ram.

Today is the last day for the Latitude offer. I'm gonig to take advantage of it. I just noticed that if you click on Dell 10 Days of Deals from the Small Business site, you get totally different offers. I winced at the discovery---did anyone notice this, and does anyone know if the Latitudes (not the 610) might have gone under those Deal Days that last 5 days? Either way, I suppose there's nothing I can do about it, the 450 off still sounds good. Thanks, tachyonico
