This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I recently discovered that the Lenovo Outlet sells ThinkPad Accessories at discounted prices! This includes batteries, AC adapters, storage, docks/port replicators and carrying cases. Both NEW and Scratch/Dent items are available.

    Here's an example- A "Scratch/Dent" 6-cell SL/R/T battery is only $36.81 (reg. $159). As long as it works, who cares if it's scratched? (Especially at a 77% discount)!
