Hi,
I just ordered an Inspiron 1525 model, Can some let me know if Dell provide any Discounts for paying by Credit Card?
Thanks,
Ganesh

I don't know for certain, but would guess probably not. Retailers usually have to pay a small percentage on credit card purchases to the bank, so there's no incentive to discount due to credit card use.
The story might be different though, if you use Dell's own financing. Not sure how it works, but if Dell's financing is run by Dell itself and not an outside bank, you might be able to deal a bit. -
They wont.

They do not

It's quite the opposite actually.... some stores will give you a credit if you play cash caus then they don't have to pay any transaction fee.

Dell gave me a 3% discount for using a preferred account (which it looks like I have to pay off by check), so it's really the opposite.

yup you're actually doing dell disservice by using credit cards (if they actually had a choice) so i don't see they'll give you a discount. just apply for DPA as mentioned above, i saved additional 4% off my m1330.

If you pay with a CC, will they still honor the current 400 dollar off a D630 upgraded to 1699 or more?
Does Dell give Discounts if we pay by Credit Card?
