Hi,
They have the 30% off coupon right now for inspirons >1499, which is a great deal, but since I don't really need my laptop right now, I was wondering if I should maybe wait for Thanksgiving? do they usually do crazy sales on thanksgiving that might be worth waiting for? Help me out everyone on making a decision. Thanks.

No, they don't usualy do anything out of the ordinary. Black Friday is a retailer thing, not so much for direct models. If they do offer something you can always cancel and re-order.

They are doing on a holiday thing this year. http://www.dell.com/holiday/

jrosaly, what coupon code did you use to get 30% off on inspiron?

You guys might want to take note that the original thread was started one year ago....

Regardless of Thanksgiving, how often does Dell release the 30% off coupons?

There was one about 3 weeks ago I juts missed it trying to decide on what I wanted, the last ones have been decreasing by %5 each time hopefully they will go back up soon

Dell had announced some time back that they are cutting down on promotions like coupons. Still, they had some great deals last year on "Cyber Monday" (which is what they called the day for Monday after Black Friday for online retailers). Got my bf a lappy for $400, but after all sorts of stuff not part of promotion, it ended up being more like $300 - and that was almost a year ago. There's a small crack in the lid now, but otherwise, it's still going strong.
