    Only works with older dvd's not one's with newer protections systems.

    But still useful.

    Any of you experts know roughly from which year (of movie DVD releases) onwards does this software not work on? :confused:

    What does this have over dvd-shrink? I never had an issue making backups with dvd-shrink, even with newer dvds.

    DVDshrink , copys a entire original dvd and if need compresses it so it can be burn to a writable dvd

    WinX DVD Ripper , only rips the movie and compress it to a fraction of the original size so it can be played back on computer or other portable devices.
