    Just picked up BF2 and BF2142. They both run great. Well worth $20. They both have instant action which is what I miss from the Bad Company series. Also if you don't have BC2 yet or whatever its cheaper than steam.

    Is the Vietnam expansion for bc2 worthwhile? Less than $10 is a good price, but a lousy game is a lousy game at any price.

    And can you buy an expansion from ea if the bc2 install is from steam?

    No I do not believe you can buy the expansion separate as you have to load the BC2 game first and then run Vietnam. I cannot confirm this... I would ask this on the EA forums if I were you. By the way the Vietnam expansion is only worth while if you previously played Battlefield Vietnam (otherwise you'll be saying, "this is the same game as BC2, just different skins").
